- Materials -
MDF (12 mm thick)
Round bar (12 mm diameter)
Round bar (10 mm diameter)
Round bar (3-4 mm diameter)
Tube (30-40 mm diameter)
PVC end cap (12 mm inner diameter)
Cooking string (about 2 m long)
- Tools -
Scroll saw
Drill press or pin vise
#240 sandpaper
Wood glue
Removable spray adhesive or double-sided tape
- Assembling -

1. Glue D and C on both sides
2. Glue F between the two C pieces
3. Glue the two G pieces on both sides of C
4. Glue the two E pieces on both sides of C
5. Assemble the "crank-unit":
-1. Glue K and J into H
-2. Drill through holes in K
6. Set the “crank-unit” into the square hole of E
7. Insert L and M into the holes of the "crank-unit" described in Step 5-2.
8. Assemble the "gatling-barrel" (glue the four barrels as shown in the diagram)
9. Insert the "gatling-barrel" into F, then fit A onto F
10. Tie a bowline knot at both ends of the string
- Loading -
1. Hang the string ring on the foremost hook and wrap the string around the barrel in a spiral
2. Load rubber bands from the front hook
- Shooting -
1. Insert the loaded "gatling-barrel" into F (barrel hanger)
2. Fit A (barrel cap) onto F (barrel hanger)
3. Hang the string ring on the bobbin hook, then turn the crank handle
4. The string will wind onto the bobbin, and the rubber bands will be fired one after another
