Simplified "Shark-Fin Release" Rubber Band Gun

Simplified "Shark-Fin Release" Semi-Automatic Rubber Band Gun. It incorporates new concepts, “EASY-INSERT” and “SANDWICH-BY-RUBBER,” as seen in the P223 PREZZA.


"EASY-INSERT"----- A design that allows installation of moving parts without disassembly.
"SANDWICH-BY-RUBBER"----An anti-slip system for the releaser using rubber band tension.

    - Materials -
  • MDF (2.5-3 mm thick)
  • Thin plastic plate (1-2 mm thick)
    • - Tools -
  • Scroll saw
  • #240 sandpaper
  • Wood glue
  • Removable spray adhesive or double-sided tape
    • - Assembling -

    Print out the templates.
    Adhere them to the MDF board using spray adhesive or double-sided tape.
    Cut out each part with a scroll saw.
    1 Temporarily place G on A1

    2 Glue B and E onto A1 while keeping the position of G
    OGG CRAFT




    3 Glue D onto A1
    OGG CRAFT




    4 Glue C onto A1
    OGG CRAFT




    5 Temporarily place F on A1
    OGG CRAFT




    6 Glue H onto A1
    OGG CRAFT




    7 Remove G and F
    OGG CRAFT




    8 Glue A2 onto the workpiece
    OGG CRAFT




    9 Insert G while spreading the frame panels, then insert F from below
    OGG CRAFT




    10 Wrap a rubber band around the top of the trigger as the trigger spring

    - Loading and shooting -
    1 Slide the releaser forward while pressing the trigger down
    OGG CRAFT



    2 Load a rubber band starting from the rearmost hook, then load the remaining four rubber bands in the order shown in the diagram

    3 Pulling the trigger fires one rubber band at a time. After all the bands have been shot, return to Step 1
